F A L L | DIY Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub

I'm back with another Fall DIY in my #FallIsComing series! Today we're going to be making Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub. This scrub is the perfection addition to your fall 'Self Care Sunday'.

This scrub literally only takes 5 minutes to throw together and it smells ah-mazing. You likely already have all the ingredients in your kitchen too.

Here's everything you need. Only 4 ingredients, 5 if you count your love for fall!
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Pour all your ingredients into a bowl. It doesn't have to be a giant one, we're not working with a large quantity of ingredients here. It's warm in my home right now because we're in that weird in between summer & fall weather. You know, where it's warm but not so hot the air conditioner kicks on? I'm blabbering about that just to tell you my coconut oil was pretty softened already due to the temperature in my house. If yours is solid, you may need to warm it up a little.

Carefully mix all the ingredients with a fork. You don't want to mix too hard because we don't want the sugar dissolving with the liquid from the vanilla and the coconut oil. If you're tempted to take a taste, go for it! It's all edible, aha.

I put mine in a pretty jar for pictures, but I'd advise using it either the day you make it or over a weekend. The sugar will dissolve over a few days and lose it's purpose. You could even halve the recipe if you only want a little bit at a time, or have a friend over and split the batch in half!

I just KNOW you will love this sugar scrub and it's the perfect seasonal way to slough that dry skin we all get in the colder months.
