sample society

I haven't blogged about sample society in awhile.  Mostly because I dig right in and forget to take pretty pictures.  I've been nervous about sample society since their relaunch.  They've always been supported by Allure, but they recently did a relaunch and it seemed like they were going to include more "makeup" items.  Now don't get me wrong, I loooove makeup.  I'm loving my Too Faced lipstick from last month.  However, my favorite thing about sample society was the skin care.  I was worried they were going to stray from that.  I know lots of people were starting to complain about the skin care, because makeup is more fun...  Being in my early 30s skin care is more important to me.

I always saw sample society as a way to have veryyy expensive high end skin care in my routine every month.  Especially moisturizers and eye creams.  Eye creams last forever so a sample size can last me several months.  I NEVER have to buy my own eye cream.  Well this month, sample society proved to me that they will still have high end skin care!

I was ecstatic when I received this box!  See that silver box?  It has a FULL SIZE restorsea eye cream!  This thing retails for $85.00!  I pay $16 for this subscription box.  So the fact that they sent out a FULL SIZE eye cream worth $85 is fantastic && this is why I love sample society.

Contents of my box:
  • Full Size container of restorsea revitalizing eye cream- $85
  • tarte self tanning face towelettes [3]- a 10 pack is $21
  • Givenchy fragrance Dahlia Divin- obsessed with this scent!  I'm really sad because I think I'm going to have to buy the full size && it's a little more than I usually spend on fragrance aha
  • LORAC POREfection face primer [large sample]
  • Alterna Caviar Repair Protein Cream [large sample]

I'm not affiliated with sample society in any way shape or form lol.  I just reallyyy love this box, and like to share it!  Glossybox is sending me a box to review, so I'll see how it compares to my sample society.  I've never wanted to go overboard with subscription boxes.  Still don't.  I justify sample society because I use it for a lot of my skin care regimen.

What subscription boxes do you subscribe to?  What's your favorite?
