Woohoo it's friday! [Which doesn't mean a whole lot to me since I'm currently working 7 days a week...] My day didn't start out too well, how was yours? This morning I woke up at 7:59 [work starts at 8am] to my son saying, "mom what time do you work today?" Talk about a rushed morning! But I'm here and things have kind of slowed down for the day. Thought I'd check in and update you guys on some things. I hope you enjoyed my "working woman's organization" post, cause I'm making it a series! Expect a new post each week from that series.
POHS~
I have an appointment on tuesday with my RS as a follow up to my Avastin injection. Things had been going great, and I considered canceling the appointment [shhh don't tell]. However, yesterday I noticed a "flicker" in the top right of my vision. It's just a tiny flickering spot, and it's still doing it today. So now I'm concerned that I may have another bleed, keeping that appointment! I'll let you know how that goes next week.
Work~
My work outside the home is pretty crazy right now. I've got so much going on. My day starts very early and ends very late. Which is probably why I slept straight through my alarm this morning... Thank goodness I've nearly perfected my "routine" so that I'm organized & was able to fly out the door quickly this morning.
Makeup~
I've got several reviews to do for you guys, and a giveaway will be hosted soon. With my Sample Society by Beauty Bar subscription box, I'm always trying new things. It is my goal to test the rest of the items that I haven't gotten to yet, so I can report my Sample Society box reviews next week.
Crafting~
I'm starting a crochet project very soon that I'll share with you. I haven't done much with yarn in years, so I'm excited to start it up again. I realized the other day that I could take my yarn & hooks to work with me & crochet in my down time. [I'm having a really hard time staying awake at work some days, so this would keep me busy]
Organization~
My master bathroom redo is finished and I'll have a post on that next week as well. My next project is my master bedroom closet [YIKES]! That is the only room that has NEVER been organized since we moved in. Don't judge... Even Monica Geller had a "junk closet"!
Bookworm~
Right now I'm taking a step back in time 16 years and reading the Harry Potter series. I never jumped on the Potter bandwagon [don't smite me]. Well the other day I was teasing Jess cause I was sleepy and I said, "read me a story". She started to read me the first Harry Potter book, and I was like, "wow this is really good! I want to know what happens next!" So here I am... a total "Potter Poser" as my son likes to call me. Oh well... better late than never to the world of Witchcraft & Wizardry right? If you have a GoodReads account, friend me on there!
I'm excited for a new week and to share new posts with you all! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I have gone from working 28hrs outside the home to 60hrs outside the home. This has made me have to multi-task and plan very well for my week. I have a calendar on my phone && utilize it, but my lifeline is a physical planner that is color coded && highlighted. I take it with me everywhere. Since I am spending so many hours working outside the home, I had to create a "mobile home office" of sorts. I have it broken down into 3 varying sized makeup bags. 1 from Estee Lauder and 2 from Mark. I have a specific purse that I use for work && keep them all in it along with myyy planner.
This is my "walking pharmacy" bag [got the name from OrganizedLikeJen on youtube, check her out]. The makeup bag is by estee lauder. In it I keep a little first aid kit that I got in the dollar bin at Target, a powder compact, lip balm, a travel deodorant [I'm NOT a morning person and forget more times than I remember to put my deodorant on at home], peppermint oil [for nausea], and my antibiotic eyedrops for after my Avastin eye shots for my POHS.
This is my favorite bag! [I have a serious office supply addiction] The makeup bag is by mark. I split it's contents into 2 pictures. On the bottom left there are varying post-it notes [yup that's a hello kitty post-it pad!], brads, happyyy face stickers [this may seem really lame, but I use them to reward myself on days I completed everything and had a good day. I stick it on the corresponding day in my planner], and circle labels [you'll see in my next post what I use those for]. In the bottom right picture is my paperclips, pens, && highlighters. I am a little OCD when it comes to color coding...
My last bag is also available from mark. It's quite a bit larger than the other two. This one houses my charging cables and my kindle fire. I have a lot of down time at work so I take advantage and read.

Veet Easy Roll-On Wax
My old full-time job was working in a beauty supply store for professionals. I had a complete love/hate relationship with that job. It was often fun && the discount was nice! In our store we carried roll on wax just like this, but a much higher cost. I was excited to see this "drug store" version, and curious to tryyy it out.
I filmed a quick unboxing video for you guys. Please understand: I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL YOUTUBER! Ahaha! I was on my phone, [I apologize for the video quality, or lack there of ha] and in the middle of renovations on my bathroom so I was a mess. I just wanted to show the unboxing with a video because it's easier for you to see it! <333
I have tested the product and I was pretty impressed! It worked exactly as I would expect it to. Here's a tip... purchase muslin from a fabric store & cut into strips. It's way cheaper than using store bought strips for waxing. I did not film the actual waxinggg process. I waxed my legs on the couch while watching Pretty Little Liars. [See it IS easy to use]
