This month's Adorn Your Android will feature a tutorial on how to get the perfect Instagram worthy photos right from your phone!
I'm currently using this beautiful wallpaper created by Limelife Planners. I love how they offer free wallpaper designs to match the planners. This specific one matches the covers I currently have on my planner right now! You can get this wallpaper for free here.
All icons are from the cocoPPa app which can be downloaded in the Google Play Store. Speaking of apps, today we're going to be using the photo editing app "Afterlight". It's also a free download in the Google Play Store.

Choose your photo that you will be editing. Once you do this you'll have the options at the bottom of the screen.
First we're going to be focusing on this levels menu. In here you can adjust the contrast, saturation, and brightness.
Bring your Saturation up to about 50%. You'll want to do this before we brighten the photo, so we don't lose the colors and vividness.
Same goes for Contrast. Up 50%!
Now I'm going to jack that Brightness ALL THE WAY! We want a bright clear photo. If you hadn't upped the Contrast and Saturation, this photo would have been completely washed out.
Now we're going to click on the color wheel to bring up a new menu. I like "Relic" and "Rain". They adjust the blues & greens in the photo.
You can eyeball how much you need to increase this. I usually keep it around 25%. You don't want to go overboard with this. Just increase it a little to enhance the colors.
Here we are with "Rain". Same thing, about 25% is all that is needed.
Finally you'll want to crop it to a square for Instagram! Done!
I hope you enjoyed this month's Adorn Your Android! What is your favorite photo editing app for your phone?
